IMPORTANT NOTICE: Kaktovik Inn is a man-camp style facility, not a traditional hotel. Reservations are made by the bed, not the room, allowing us to accommodate as many guests as possible in our remote community’s only hospitality option. Rooms are separated by gender to ensure female guests have access to limited in-room bathrooms, which may result in last-minute bed changes. While we strive to honor online reservation requests, space constraints mean guests are guaranteed a bed but not a specific room or bathroom setup.

Shared Accommodations
Kaktovik Inn operates as a man-camp, charging per bed. Guests may be roomed with other guests, but we do our best to stagger accommodations.
Amenities
Meals are not included in the reservation rate. Guests are responsible for their own food & drinks. The Inn has available a shared refrigerator and freezer, ice, microwave, and hot water kettle for guest use.
Airport Shuttle
Airport pick-up and drop-off is available with a $10 fee per guest per direction and must be prearranged via email at

Check-in is 3:00 p.m.
Check-out is 11:00 a.m.
If check-in will occur later than 4:00 p.m., please contact the hotel to coordinate in advance or bed may be released to another guest.
Freight and Storage
Freight handling and/or storage is available for $100 per instance and must be prearranged.
Local Bed Tax
The City of Kaktovik has a 12% bed tax. This is not included in the reservation rates.
Damages Disclaimer
There is a $450 minimum fee for any damages that occur to the hotel, plus the cost of reparations including the daily amount of business loss due to the damage(s).
Loss Disclaimer
